Why should I hire you as my photographer?
Well this one is easy :). Let’s start with the more “technical” things…
I’m certified in newborn safety and have spent the last 7 years training and learning from some pretty incredible photographers. We’re talking industry leading professionals that are the best of the best. I continue this education yearly so I’m constantly refining my previous skills and learning new ones in order to provide the absolute best service and product for my clients.
The “not-so-technical” reasons? Because I love these babies and families like my own. <3 As a mom, I’ve seen firsthand how time flies by and memories flee as you create new ones. I constantly catch myself saying how much I’ve forgotten from when my kids were newborns and babies. Without photos to remind me, those memories would be gone forever.
What do you shoot/what services do you offer?
Although I specialize in newborns, I do also photograph maternity, babies/children, cake smash, and families. I like to grow with my families so I’m your girl from the moment you find out your expecting! Themed/specialty mini sessions are also offered randomly throughout the year and are some of my favorite to shoot! Where are you located? Where do newborn sessions take place? Do you travel?
My studio is located just off the square in beautiful downtown, Garland TX. For outdoor sessions (maternity, families, minis, and sometimes milestones) I shoot pretty much anywhere in the metroplex. Newborn sessions take place in my studio. I have all my props, outfits/hats/headbands, wraps, etc there (and trust me…I have A LOT!) so you can just sit back and relax during your session. Daniel, my husband, and I met when I was 14 years old in high school
We have two children, a boy and a girl, named Miles and Livian.
Good crime drama is my weakness and have seen almost every episode of Law & Order: SVU (but I still watch the reruns on USA)
I love football (Go Cowboys!) and came in 2nd place in my fantasy football league. I lost to my husband.
The Breakfast Club, Steel Magnolias, and Harry Potter top my list of favorite movies.
Quoting movies are part of my normal, everyday conversation
I have an eclectic taste in music depending on my mood but you can never go wrong with country or classic rock
Crafting and DIY is my jam!
Babies and newborns are kinda my thing. I love their toes, fingers, lashes, and all the tiny details. Oh, and I love the smell of a newborn baby. Does that make me weird?
