Milestone & Cake Smash Session Pricing
So, your little one is growing faster than you can imagine and you want to capture it all? I get it, mama. One minute, they’re born…the next they’re walking…and then they’re graduating high school and off to college. Time is a thief and it’s so unfair. A milestone or cake smash session is the perfect way to pause time and capture all those tiny details before they’re gone.
Cake smash sessions can be kept simple or themed with a fun setup! The first half of the session I will focus on the birthday boy/girl. After that, we will start smashing cakes and having fun! All smash sessions are custom designed and styled to match your theme. This includes backdrops, props, and your cake! If you don’t already have a theme, let’s work together and see what fun ideas we can come up with!

Milestone sessions are usually fairly simple and focus on baby. I want to showcase their little personality and the new skills they’re learning! Because babies tend to grow at their own pace, I like to book these around those milestones rather than a specific age. For variety in poses and shots, it’s best to book when baby can sit unassisted but not quite be on the move yet. This is typically around 6-10 months but every baby is different! These are also perfect for that 3 month age when they’re not really a newborn anymore but not quite sitting either!

Where do sessions take place?
Cake smash session take place at my studio in downtown Garland. Milestone sessions can take place at my studio or outdoors if you prefer. Keep in mind all outdoor sessions are usually scheduled around sunlight and are best booked at sunrise or sunset.
How many outfits do we get? Are they included?
For both cake smash and milestone sessions, time allows for up to 2 outfits (1 outfit change). At this time, outfits are not included in the session. I'm more than happy to help you find the perfect outfit for your session!
What if I don't want a cake smash for my 1 year old?
No problem! You can book a milestone session for just simple, beautiful session for your 1 year old! The milestone session does not include themes, props, or themed backdrops.
Do you have a selection of themes to choose from or can we create our own?
I'm happy to work with whatever theme or color palette you have in mind! Feel free to browse my website or social media if you'd like to take a look at previous themes I've done for inspiration! If you're not sure what theme you want, let me know and I can work out ideas and help come up with something perfect!
My little one has food allergies. Will that be a problem?
If your little one has food allergies I ask that you let me know up front so we can discuss our options.
Do you charge extra for twins/triplets?
No, of course not! There is no extra charge if you have twins, triplets, or more!
Can we purchase extra images if we want more?
Yes, of course! If you decide you want more than what's included in your package, digitals are available to purchase a la carte or at a discounted rate if you decide you want the remaining gallery.
What is the print credit? Can I use it for extra digitals?
It is a complementary credit included with most packages and can be used toward the purchase of prints, wall art, canvases, and other physical printed products. It's the perfect way to see your images printed through professional labs that help showcase their true beauty and color.
The credit cannot be used toward the purchase of digital images and cannot be transferred to other sessions or clients. Since it's a complementary add in, it's completely up to you whether you'd like to use the credit or not and no additional purchases are required if you choose not to. If you'd like to see a la carte pricing for prints and other physical products, I'd be happy to send one!
Ok I'm ready! How do I book?!
Booking is really simple! All packages require a $100 booking fee and a signed agreement to reserve your due date. The remaining balance is due 4 days before your session. This fee is non-refundable however it does apply to your package total and is used to secure your session with me. When you're ready, I'll send you my super easy booking form where you can select your package, read & sign your agreement, and pay your booking fee in 3 short and easy steps.
