IT’S A BOY! Joey’s parents decided to wait until birth to find out gender of their baby. I always admire parents who make it to the end. It takes some serious patience and dedication…I’m just not sure I could hold out that long!!!
When we had our consultation, we discussed doing some yellow (love!) and either pink or blue depending on baby’s gender. Surprise! We ended up doing navy! I’m always so drawn to bold colors in my sessions and love when parents go along with my ideas and visions. They also mentioned they were huge sports fans! Not just sports fans but different teams too…some opposing ha! We did I think 2 or 3 different sports teams during his session but it turned out perfect. Dad is also a hockey goalie so we did a super cute photo of little guy in his glove!
This sweet guy was such a chunk and I loved it! I had ordered some little denim pants from my favorite vendor special for his session. They had stars on the pockets and went perfect with his moon and stars nursery. When it came time to put them on, I wasn’t honestly sure they were going to fit his chunky little legs ha! They did but we still like to laugh about his “skinny jeans”.
As I mentioned, he had a moon and stars themed nursery. I knew my moon prop would be a perfect fit! I love doing special images like this for clients. They’re almost always a favorite and worth the extra editing time.
